I'm not joking when I say this is the best (and easiest) chocolate chip cookie that you will ever make.  It has taken me years, with many recipes, experiments and mistakes, to get to this cookie. It's the cookie that turned my husband into a cookie lover. Before this, he was strictly an "ice cream guy". Now he gets upset if I make anything but this. It's crispy on the edges, gooey in the center, and has the perfect ratio of brown to white sugar to give it the perfect taste. I've incorporated walnuts and toffee bits which I really do think make this cookie shine.
